It seems like everyone is expected to get a date for prom but that's just not true. I'm a girl and I've never really had a bunch of guy friends so with my Prom in a few months its apparent I wont be getting asked. If you're like me, don't fret! Find some other friends who won't have dates and go with them! Or just hang out with the ones that do and borrow dates! (Haha, not sure if that would go down without a fight...)
But if you are going to get a date, congratz! Or if you're planning on asking someone, go get em' tiger! Here are some cute ways to ask a guy (or girl) out!
1) Make a HUGE sign! You could use chalk, paper hearts, cups, flowers, lights, you name it! The bigger the better! The location is important too so think of someplace it will be easily seen such as a yard, drive way, lunch table, car, garage door, fence, etc...
2) Sing a romantic song. It could be origional (written by you) or famous! If you can't sing or play an instrument, get some friends to help you out. Don't like preforming in front of others? Show up at their house or prerecord it.
3) Wear a shirt! Or get a few people to spell out "PROM" when standing side by side!
4) Scavenger Hunt! This is my favorite because they will have to hunt for clues and then find you waiting at the end with flowers! (or anything else really) You could have them go around the neighborhood, at school, Walmart, their house, etc!
5) Bake something! Spell out "PROM" in brownies or written in icing on a cake. The best part is you get to eat it after! (Make sure you find out if they like dessert first. You know girl's and their diets...)
There are many other ways to ask someone so use your imagination but don't stress too much! Just remember that flowers are good to include no matter how you ask.
